This game was created in less than 48 hours for the GMTK Game Jam 2021. The game therefore has a lot of bugs and is not completely stable. Notably WASD controls do not work due to an error in the code, use the arrow keys instead.The Dark Side is a top-down exploration game based on similar games like The Legend Of Zelda. It features a dark world and a light world which have been 'joined together' and it's up to you to reverse this before it's too late. Traverse through the two words and embark on your quest
STORY
For centuries the dark world and the light world have co-existed separately, however recently they have begun to merge. It's up to you to find the three orbs and return them to the shrine to stop them from merging copletely bringing chaos to the land.
JOINED TOGETHER
The theme for the jam the game was created for was 'Joined Together'. Therefore in this game, the conjoinment of the light and dark world has been made the main mechanic.
CONTROLS
WASD or the Arrow keys to move
X or SPACE to use your sword
